Short Title
The Recycling of Ships Act, 2019
Long Title
An Act to provide for the regulation of recycling of ships by setting certain standards and laying down the statutory mechanism for enforcement of such standards and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Section 33(2)
Crime: Master or agent of a ship restraining or detaining any person authorised to detain or survey the ship, on the execution of their duty.

Crime: Master or agent of a ship forcibly taking to sea any person authorised to detain or survey the ship, on the execution of their duty.

Crime: Owner or master of a ship proceeding to sea after detention or after service of any notice or order for such detention, before being released by the National Authority.
